I don’t even know where to start other than genuinely thank you from the bottom of my heart. We’ve spent the last hour or two just watching the videos over and over and smiling the whole way through. These are by far the most precious things from our wedding. They are so perfect! You have captured all the little things, just as I remember them from the day. And after watching the videos we’re left with the same feeling that we had after our wedding day, just an overwhelming sense of love and gratitude for how everyone (guests and vendors alike) came together for us.

You have such a skill for storytelling, such an observant eye and so much emotional depth. We really just cannot believe how perfect the videos are, and are just so grateful that you captured the day in the way you did. This is such a meaningful record to keep of not just our wedding, but of our grandparents, families and friends all together.

And the ceremony edit! We were not expecting that level of production at all!! On the day, I didn’t get to watch my niece Maggie walk down the aisle as the flower girl. So it was so special to be able to see that for the first time!

We are just so so glad we booked you for our wedding. You have so thoughtfully edited everything, and we’re just so grateful for you! I don’t know how to convey just how stoked we are. Perfect seems much too shallow for just how meaningful these videos are. I could watch them forever. The song choices were also spot on!! You are simply GREAT at what you do.

You have made our memory of the day tangible again. And we’re so grateful to you for capturing that. I hope you understand just how meaningful the work you do for people is. And it’s so evident you put your whole self (and heart) into what you do.”

“We both just watched all of the films and were emotional, in awe, excited and just happy. It‘s just brought back the feeling of our wedding day with such depth and clarity. 

Your sincerity and kindness on the day comes through in every shot, I just can’t believe how empathetic your perception was, to capture everything that was special to us as well as all of the little unconscious movements and touches that bring back the raw beauty of it all. We both have paused the film on so many fleeting moments that we cherished, like our grandparents smiling, my hug with my Dad after his reading and Phoebe’s hug with her Dad after he played. Thank you for feeling the weight of those moments, capturing them and now giving them to us to cherish.

Josh was fantastic throughout planning, the day of and with the goods he provided after.

Planning was easy and simple, Josh was really helpful with explaining any queries we had and the booking and set up through his website and eForms was easy. We really appreciated Josh’s great communication throughout and on through to the day we received the films.

The day of the wedding, Josh and our photographer collaborated so seamlessly together which was a great relief. Josh was great at making a camera shy bunch feel comfortable, and he captured plenty of candid moments effortlessly.  It was fantastic to see that Josh enjoyed the wedding and had fun with the day and you can see he loves what he does.

We got the films back a few weeks later and are still blown away with them all and are so happy that we picked Joy Ride! The super 8 film oozes the vintage feel we were after and ties in perfectly with the rest of the film.

The most important and special day of our lives, it was so important to have the right people to capture the moments that we wanted, in the way that we wanted them. With this in mind and with the power of hindsight, to have chosen Josh was absolutely the right decision. His work on the day was absolutely seamless - his easygoing personality made us feel at ease instantly and we truly felt comfortable from the word go.  It was great for peace of mind to see how well he was able to communicate with and work alongside our photographer, who he’d never worked with previously. The personal touches he showed through the day were so thoughtful, chiming in with suggestions where it seemed we might miss an opportunity, made sure we got everything we needed. But Josh’s ability to blend into the scene, making it nearly impossible to notice him, allowed him to capture many intimate and candid moments across our whole guest list. Dear Josh,

We have been enjoying sharing both the videos and photos with just our immediate families over the last few days. It so happened that both Chris’ parents and my folks and sister had made plans to stay with us at various points last week and so we decided to set up our projector in the living room and have spent a couple of evenings looking through the videos and photos with them - like a proper family slide and movie night! It’s been very special seeing our families delight in the videos as much as we have.

The highlights video is simply wonderful!! It makes us both feel so happy and excited whenever we watch it. Perhaps it’s the uncanny sense of reliving the day through someone else’s eyes or the fact that the soundtrack creates an aural reference to the songs we had selected for our ceremony and first dance, but the whole effect is just magic! Thank you especially for adding the drone footage in - it’s so very generous of you and adds beautifully to the atmosphere of the video. And finally, our compliments on the clever editing that made our wedding choir sound like Steve Kilbey!

We are immensely grateful to you for everything you have done for us. From being accommodating of the quite specific requests we had about what we wanted recorded to capturing the day itself in a way that was unobtrusive and understated, and which made us feel like we weren’t apart from our guests for too long or working to a schedule. You have given us and our families and friends something very special!
